About Trevino While Trevino may be a new name in some parts of the United States we certainly are not new to the glove business. The Trevino Family (T&T Sports) has been making professional quality baseball and softball gloves for over 20 years. We have built a solid reputation here in the State of Texas for using only superior materials, producing top-quality craftsmanship and providing reasonable prices. Made in the U.S.A. U.S. tanneries in general, produce the finest leathers in the world and we hand select top grain material only from U.S. sources. In fact, we purchase leather from the same tanneries as most of the "big name" U.S. and Japanese glove makers. But, that's not all. Our gloves are also constructed and sewn, right here in the U.S.A. Heavy Leather When new, Trevino gloves are extra firm. Why? Because we use abundant padding and heavy 5 - 6 oz. leather (as opposed to 4 - 5 oz. leather or even 3 - 4 oz. leather used by others). Extra effort and time may be required to break-in one of our mitts but, the heavy leather and padding results in a glove that holds its shape and strength in the long run.
